The Cable Show 2010 - Go Beyond

Turn It Up: Battle of the Bands Is Back!

The Cable Show will rock on in 2010 as cable’s most talented performers take the stage with a star-studded celebrity band in a special CableCares event supporting the Los Angeles youth organization A Place Called Home.

Make sure you're on the scene on Tuesday, May 11 at the stylish Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles for:
  • On-stage performances by new and returning cable industry bands competing for the Top Cable Rocker spot.
  • Celebrity judges and emcees (after all, this is Hollywood).
  • A special headline performance by the charity-fundraising group Band From TV, featuring prime timers Greg Grunberg and Adrian Pasdar (NBC's "Heroes"), James Denton (ABC's "Desperate Housewives"), Bob Guiney (GSN's "GSN Live"), Jesse Spencer (FOX's "House") and Scott Grimes (NBC's "ER" and FOX's "American Dad").

How to get into it:

  • Volunteer or contribute to A Place Called Home through the CableCares initiatives.
  • Donate financial support in the form of Battle of the Bands sponsorship or ticket purchases.
  • The call for audition tapes is now closed. Selected bands will be notified shortly and will perform a three-song set during the concert. See Participation Guidelines for most details.

Don't forget to put Battle of the Bands on your calendar and be at Club Nokia on Tuesday, May 11 for a fantastic L.A. party.
