The American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) is the nonprofit corporation that distributes Internet number resources, including IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and Autonomous System Numbers, to Canada, many Caribbean and North Atlantic islands, and the United States.

ARIN is one of five Regional Internet Registries that: provides services related to technical coordination and management of Internet number resources; participates in the global Internet community; and facilitates policy development by its members and the stakeholders in its region.

ARIN’s organizational structure includes a 7-member Board of Trustees, a 15-member Advisory Council, and a staff of about 50.
