2010 Cable Industry Conference Schedule Announced

Schedule Marks the Return of “Diversity Week” in New York City This September

Washington, DC – The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) today announced a schedule of cable industry meetings, events and conferences for 2010.  Numerous events are planned for three separate weeks – in Los Angeles, New York and New Orleans – during the year.

Of note is the return of Diversity Week to New York City in September 2010, featuring annual meetings for cable diversity groups such as Women in Cable & Telecommunications (WICT); the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC); and the Walter Kaitz Foundation.  The Association of Cable Communicators (ACC) also will hold its annual Forum during the September week in New York.  Diversity Week also will feature a meeting of the NCTA Board of Directors. 

The overall schedule has been cooperatively coordinated by the various organizations involved, with each sponsoring group planning and executing its respective events.
