WASHINGTON, DC – The 2010 Spring Technical Forum – a collaboration uniting the best of the Conference on Emerging Technologies® from the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE); the annual Technical Papers™ program of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA); and the thought leadership of Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (CableLabs®) – will bring together the top innovators in the broadband industry at the The Cable Show 2010, theindustry’s premiere annual event, May 11-13, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
At this new conference on technology, the cable industry’s technical community will explore innovative approaches in network architecture, operational efficiencies, advanced hardware and software services, and more. The conference will also feature nearly 30 of the industry’s most distinguished authors who will present the highlights of their papers in one of the following technical paper sessions:

The multi-day conference, which kicks off on Tuesday morning, May 11, will feature a series of panels including a strategic view of cable’s technology future from the industry’s chief technical leadership; practical approaches to improved energy efficiency and cost savings associated with alternative energies and best practices; and a customized view of the entire cable technology ecosystem geared for the local West Coast engineering community.
Forum participants will include a broad cross section of senior-level technologists and those with engineering management and financial responsibilities.
