WASHINGTON, DC – The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) today announced the addition of Keith Lee, CEO & Co-Founder of Booyah, to its line-up of speakers for The Cable Show 2010, at a general session on Tuesday, May 11.
The Cable Show 2010, NCTA’s 59th Annual Convention and International Exposition, is scheduled for May 11-13, 2010, at the Los Angeles Convention Center and adjacent Nokia Theater.
Lee is a leader of the interactive entertainment industry who has been credited with revolutionizing the consumer gaming experience, including helping to define the exploding new market called “real-world gaming.” His track record of creating best-selling video games, developing compelling experiences, and attracting broad audiences into the gaming space is best defined by the success of Booyah’s flagship game “MyTown,” the popular location-based mobile social game played by over 2 million people. With the addition of Lee to the Tuesday panel, all three general sessions at The Cable Show now feature prominent representatives of Hollywood, Silicon Valley, and the cable industry. The Wednesday general session, “Media Everywhere: Implications of the Always-On Network,” is scheduled for Wednesday, May 12, at 9:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time. Thursday’s general session, “Conversation 2.0: Community, Collaboration & the Future of Media,” is scheduled for Thursday, May 13, at 9:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Pacific Time.
