Michael Kazmier

As CTO at Avail-TVN, Michael is responsible for the company’s overall technical strategy, driving the development of the company’s next-generation digital media services platform. His team ensures that the company’s content and service provider customers are able to monetize digital video assets, regardless of format or network type. He brings extensive experience building carrier-grade systems, developing solutions for fixed and mobile environments, transferring large amounts of data securely, and efficiently.

Michael was the founder and CTO of Auroras Entertainment, before its merger with Avail Media, now Avail-TVN. Previously, he served as CTO and CEO with Sofast Communications and was the founder of Digital Mountain, where he led a team that worked to integrate MPEG-4 and convergent services into the fixed wireless market. His experience spans the wireless and wired industries, with a focus on delivering content, data and other file formats across diverse network topologies.

Michael is married and is blessed with two wonderful boys and resides in beautiful Kalispell, Montana. When he's not immersed in digital media, Michael and his family enjoy the wonders of the pacific northwest including hiking and camping through Glacier National Park, swimming and boating at Flathead Lake and skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort.
