Mark Schubin
Multiple Emmy-award winning SMPTE Fellow Mark Schubin is an independent technology consultant and chief information server at SchubinCafe.com. His clients range from the Metropolitan Opera and Sesame Street to movie studios, networks, manufacturers and governments.
He has worked on such high-profile 3D projects as the Tournament of Roses Parade and the Rolling Stones. His Pay-TV Guide was first published in 1972, and he was awarded a U.S. patent on a secure television system in 1976.
Schubin has a BE from Stevens Institute of Technology. He has been a senior member of SCTE in the U.S. and a member of SCTE in the UK. Last fall, he accepted the International Honour for Excellence, the highest award of the International Broadcasting Convention.
