Cliff Hagan is Senior Vice President of Enterprise Information Technology for Cablevision Systems Corporation. As such, Mr. Hagan is responsible for the core information technology systems and infrastructures of Cablevision, as well as for establishing the architectural standards that govern the development of IT systems across Cablevision's various business units.
Since coming to Cablevision in 1996, Mr. Hagan has held various management positions within the company's information systems area. Starting as Senior Development Manager, progressing to Director of the Program Management Office, then to Vice President and Business Information Officer for Cablevision’s Cable & Communications business unit.
From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Hagan managed the information technology team that designed, developed and deployed the first-of-its-kind, Broadband Auto Provisioning System, enabling the rapid deployment of customer self-provisioning for high-speed data, digital set-top boxes, and voice over IP telephony services. This breakthrough system has enabled the rapid deployment of new products and services, while saving the company millions of dollars in operational costs each year. Auto Provisioning has enabled customers to self-order and self- provision, without dependency on – or costs associated with -- professional installations.
Mr. Hagan also managed the consolidation of eighteen Cablevision call centers into five, updating legacy system architecture and implementing innovative call center technology; including the deployment of state-of-the-art call routing, interactive voice response units, and computer telephony.
Prior to joining Cablevision, Mr. Hagan worked in various technology positions at General Electric Aerospace and Arrowsmith Technologies. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Mr. Hagan served on the USS Kitty Hawk from 1982-1985.
He is a member of the National Cable and Telecommunication’s CIO Executive Steering Committee and a member of CableLabs.
