Kevin Tsujihara was named President, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group upon its founding in October 2005. The Home Entertainment Group includes the home video, direct-to-platform production, digital distribution, online, wireless, games, anti-piracy and emerging technology operations of the Studio. The Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group was formed in recognition of the ongoing changes in the way consumers access entertainment product and the ever-broadening choices they face.

Under Tsujihara’s guidance, the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group seeks to maximize current and next-generation distribution scenarios to make the Studio’s content available to audiences through as many channels, platforms and devices as possible. The Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group’s mandate includes harnessing the benefits of emerging technologies, while managing the risks these technologies pose to the long-term economic value of the Studio’s content.

As President of the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, Tsujihara has positioned it as an industry trendsetter, having made a number of ground-breaking deals in the digital space and founding, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Premiere, a brand new direct-to-DVD production arm of Warner Bros. Entertainment with the mandate to develop, produce and market feature-length content for this rapidly growing segment.

Prior to his current post, Tsujihara had served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Business Development & Strategy, Warner Bros. Entertainment since April 2002.

In that post, Tsujihara held oversight of strategic business and technology development, new media and strategic planning for Warner Bros. He was also the Company’s liaison with parent company Time Warner for business development, new media and strategic planning.

Tsujihara previously served as Executive Vice President, New Media, a post to which he was promoted in March 2000. In this position, he was responsible for the oversight of all of Warner Bros.’ new media endeavors and initiatives, including identifying and negotiating equity investments and strategic alliances with companies whose assets could play an integral role in moving Warner Bros. forward in both the new and traditional media. He also led the re-launch and re-positioning of Warner Bros. Online.

Before that, Tsujihara was Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Development and retained that post’s responsibilities when he was promoted to Executive Vice President, New Media. In his strategic planning role, he was responsible for meeting Warner Bros.’ growth objectives by identifying business opportunities developing out of changes in the competitive landscape, the marketplace, technology and regulation.

Prior to this, Tsujihara served as Vice President, Corporate Projects, spearheading the company’s cost-management endeavors. He joined Warner Bros. in 1994 as Director, Special Projects, Finance to assist in the management of the company’s interest in Six Flags.

Tsujihara serves on the board of the Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation in Glendale, CA; he also serves on the board of directors of the LA Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC).

Upon attaining his MBA from Stanford University, Tsujihara founded QuickTax, Inc., an Internet company specializing in applying the convenience of the Internet to functions such as the electronic filing of tax and financial data. Prior to attending Stanford, he spent four years as a manager in Ernst & Young’s entertainment division, working in the audit and merger and acquisitions areas. He joined the accounting firm upon graduation from the University of Southern California, where he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Tsujihara and his wife, Sandy, have two children, Matthew and Morgan.
